Welcome to 2023!
We are excited to see what this year brings for music at Hillview. There are a range of opportunities throughout school, both in class, private itinerant lessons, choirs and CSM Outreach Band!

a) Sign up for the outreach band programme in 2023
This includes all those new to the programme (training band) and those who want to return to the programme in 2022. More information can be found on the

b) Other instrumental lessons
Drum lessons begin with Cam Finlay on Friday, 10thFebruary. Venue: Bowling club hall, senior campus
Guitar, vocal, piano, and violin lessons are all starting soon. Check out are amazing tutors on the Instrumental Lessons tab above!

C) Performance Bands
Year 6-8
Students involved in the year 6-8 band in 2022 are offered automatic entry to the band in 2023 if they continue with the same instrument as last year. Students wishing to play a different instrument in the band may need to audition.
All students (both returning students and new students),please contact Kim Morgan if you are interested
Year 9-10
Year 9 students involved in the Year 6-8 Performance Band in 2022 are offered automatic entry to the Year 9-10 Performance Band in 2023 if they continue with the same instrument as last year. Students wishing to play a different instrument in the band may need to audition.
